How does Dispatch work?

Dispatch is an AI-powered chat-based assistant built into TruckSmarter. Type what you need and it gets to work. No filters and no forms needed. You can tell Dispatch to: "Find me reefer loads out of Dallas" “Is this load above market rate? “Follow up with this broker at 4pm if I haven't heard back.” Dispatch can verify load details, draft broker emails, and help with booking. Nothing gets booked without your approval.

Is there a cost to use Dispatch?

Dispatch is free to use. All new sign-ups get a limited number of chat requests at no cost. Requests reset weekly. If you need more, subscribe to Dispatch Unlimited for $49 per month. No additional fees or commission. Cancel anytime.

What information do I need to provide to get started?

Getting started is quick. For security purposes, you'll verify your authority (MC/DOT number) to create your account—no payment information or credit card required. How is Dispatch different from traditional dispatch services?

Dispatch is an AI-powered assistant that helps you find freight, handle repetitive admin tasks faster, and understand profitability better. Unlike traditional trucking dispatch software: - Dispatch doesn't take a percentage of your revenue - You choose which loads to book - You communicate directly with brokers Dispatch works 24/7 to help search, call, and organize freight workflows. All you need to do is ask.

Can Dispatch call brokers and book loads?

Yes. Dispatch can call brokers, verify load details, draft emails, and help you place bids or book freight. Once you’ve found a load you’re interested in, tell Dispatch what to do: “Book it for $2,000”, “Draft an email to the broker”, or “Call to get more details, then book”. Direct booking is available with select brokers if you’ve connected your credentials. For phone bookings, Dispatch transfers you in at the end so you can confirm the load yourself.

Which load boards does the service search?

Dispatch searches loads available through TruckSmarter’s load board. You can also connect your Gmail account to bring broker load emails directly into Dispatch. We’re continuing to expand integrations and broker connectivity over time.

How long does it take to get results?

Dispatch works in real-time, but some tasks—like calling a broker or waiting on hold—take a few minutes to complete. You'll get updates in chat to track its progress. For urgent updates, Dispatch will reach you by push notification, text, or phone call depending on the situation. You can also check the status of any active task from the icon in the top right corner of the Dispatch screen.
